Today, not only Ukraine but the entire civilized world has been shaken by another act of terrorism from the aggressor country. It is a war crime that has led to a technological catastrophe, the consequences of which will be catastrophic.

Today, at 2 a.m., Russians detonated the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, the fifth largest in Ukraine. The explosion destroyed 11 out of 28 dam sections, resulting in the flooding of approximately 80 settlements and the leakage of at least 150 tons of engine oil into the Dnipro River, with a potential for an additional 300 tons to leak. The consequences of the destruction are worsening with each passing hour.

People are fleeing from the flood. Many animals have perished. In the temporarily occupied town of Nova Kakhovka, all the animals in the "Fairy Grove" zoo have died due to flooding. Search and rescue operations for saving the animals are already underway.

Both people and animals are in need of assistance.
